John Unger Biography

John Unger is the founder of Coyote Consulting and a twenty-five year veteran on leveraging Information Technology. As a successful small business owner and IT expert since 1985, John advises entrepreneurs and leaders of larger corporations by participating in projects where business intelligence or business automation strategies deliver sustained results. The perfect solution amidst the countless options for software, hardware and systems doesn’t exist. Therefore, valuable lessons learned and achievements earned from managing his own successful businesses provide John a unique perspective for implementing solutions.

He’s active in the community and interacts with audiences through public speaking engagements. His natural leadership qualities are clearly visible by volunteering as a scout leader, mentoring other business owners through Innovate VMS, as well as actively networking at the Shiloh Chamber of Commerce. Other noteworthy responsibilities include active leadership roles on boards such as the Saint Louis County Economic Council and the Olin School of Business Alumni Board. John has been recognized with a couple of outstanding awards throughout his career. Some of these achievements include the Washington University in St. Louis Peer Recognition Award and being invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma (the National Business Honors Society) upon completion of the WUSTL EMBA program. Sharing entrepreneur experiences and practical IT insights along with his passion for achieving execution excellence make him a valuable partner.
